Fundamentals of Digital Scholarship

One of the DSSG's Foundations Series seminars, Fundamentals of Digital Scholarship is a two-day seminar that introduces participants to the core stages of data-driven digital scholarship’s research workflow: the acquisition, manipulation, analysis, and presentation of data.

The seminar consists of a series of hands-on sessions that walk participants through:

• Creating digital datasets from online or physical resources;
• Effectively storing and organizing those datasets;
• Preparing the data for analysis;
• Using visualization techniques to explore datasets; and
• Presenting the results in various formats on multiple platforms.

This free seminar is open to faculty, students, and staff. Lunch is provided both days.
