The Japan Digital Research Center is located in the Fung Library. The entrance to the library is on the concourse level of the Knafel Building, the North Building of the Center for Government and International Studies complex, at the corner of Sumner Road and Cambridge Street, northeast of Harvard Square.

Fung Library and the Japan Digital Research Center are accessible by public transportation, taxi, or personal car. Visitors are advised, however, that parking is scarce in the surrounding area; public transportation is highly recommended. The CGIS Knafel Building is a 5-minute walk from Harvard Yard and the Harvard Square subway stop on the Red Line.

There is metered parking all along Broadway, Cambridge, Kirkland, and Oxford Streets near the CGIS Knafel Building. Paid Harvard parking is sometimes available in the nearby Broadway, Everett, and Oxford Garages, but a special visitor parking permit must be purchased in advance to use these facilities. ファング図書館と日本デジタルリサーチセンターは公共交通機関、タクシー、自家用車等でアクセスできます。しかし駐車場台数は限られているので、できるだけ公共交通機関をご利用ください。同施設は地下鉄レッドラインのハーバードスクエア駅を下車、ハーバードヤードから徒歩５分程度です。
